For the New Year, Team LRSD will be hosting its first ever Gaming for Charity Tournament, where all proceeds will be going to the Wounded Warrior Project. We hope to make this a successful event and to do that we need your help.
This tournament will be played on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for the Xbox 360.
Tournament Date: January 29th to 31st 2010
As of right now the Semi-Finals and Finals will be broadcast live on TEAMLRSD.com. We are also thinking of broadcasting other random match ups throughout the tournament.
Our Goal is to get 32 Teams of four to compete in a single-elimination tournament. Each team must donate at least $20 per team to compete. That breaks down to $5 dollars a person per team. All money raised will be going to the Wounded Warrior Project. This is a great opportunity to give back to our armed forces who are out there protecting our freedom.
Prizes, which will be awarded to First, Second, and Third place finishers, have been graciously donated by Gamer-Grip.
